Solo Slide

His first time going down any slide without a spotter. He had already gone once or twice by the time I took this video, and each time ended the same, awesome way. The only difference was that the first time, he just laid there for a lot longer, with an expression like he was unsure what to do next. But he got the hang of it pretty quick, and later the same day, Anne took him to the park where he went solo on a big slide!

Fun On The Slide

He did this over and over and over and over and over and over again at the park one day. The dual slides were nice - I could slide next him to prevent his tendency to fall back as he slid down. I was just impressed with how his climbing skills have developed.

Wouldn't It Be Nice

Dominic's favorite song to dance to for a little while was the Beach Boys' "Wouldn't It Be Nice." We missed filming the first, best time he danced through the whole song, but this second time was pretty impressive as well.

Stunt Baby!

So Dominic performed his first of what will surely be endless stunts last night. He had already done it twice when I started filming, and pretty much kept going until he exhausted himself for bed. Don't feel like you have to watch the full 9 minutes, but I included it all just for kicks...

Fun With Frank's Nose and Spinning

Dom's been interacting with Frank more and more, even when Frank's trying to sleep sometimes. This was a fun example on Saturday that shows how good they're both getting with each other.

Getting Ready For Bed

After his dinner and bath, we usually just relax in Dom's room for a while, winding him down for bedtime. I caught a couple minutes of it on Monday night that includes a bit of everything. You can see him playing with Mommy from across the room, checking the iPod speaker as one song ends and the next begins (he does it with almost every song), doing a little dancing, a little heavy lifting, and at the end, he's just starting to help put his new diapers away. He actually helped quite a bit with that - putting them right where they're supposed to go and then beaming with pride. Anyway, enjoy!

Dom's Reggae Dance Party

Dominic was getting quite frustrated with me until I realized he wanted me to turn the TV to a music channel, so he could unleash his killer dance moves. My first attempt - classic rock - didn't quite cut it so I switched to reggae, and unleash he did.

The cut under his eye is from a couple days ago when his virus had him a little woozie and off balance. But as you can see, he's good as new now!
